The
Day begins by meeting your guide at our shop. While at the shop,
you will collect your gear, get your license, and pick up flies
and any other needed equipment. From the shop, you'll travel with
your guide to the day's destination. A hearty streamside lunch
is provided for full day trips. While on the stream your guide
will not only cater to your fishing expectations, but he or she
will also be your tour guide and scout, highlighting interesting
land marks and Colorado's wide range of wildlife. Types of wildlife
you might expect to see are; elk, mule dear, big horn sheep, an
occasional eagle, and the list goes on. Kinsley Outfitters is

"Full Day"
These trips are typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but can be
adjusted to fit your particular schedule. Destinations include
Rocky Mountain National Park, the Big Thompson River, and the
Boulder Creek and St Vrain River watersheds.
"Half Day"
These trips are typically from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM
to 4:00 PM, but can be adjusted to fit your particular schedule.
Destinations include the Boulder Creek, South Boulder Creek, the
St Vrain River and several of our other little secrets.
"West Slope"
In addition, we offer "dawn to dusk" trips to various
West Slope destinations, including the Gold Medal waters of the
Blue and Colorado Rivers, and the fabled "Dream Stream"
of the South Platte.

Of special interest are full-day trips to private
water on Sylvan Dale Ranch. Located only 45 min. from Boulder,
this wonderful property includes sections of the Big Thompson
River as well as lakes and ponds that hold trophy trout in the
16" - 24" range. Rod fee is an additional $50.00-$100.00
per person. At least one week advance notice is required.
*What's Included?
An Orvis Endorsed guide, transportation, Orvis fly rod and reel, waders and boots, streamside lunch with beverages and often follow-up photos.
*What's Not Included?
Colorado fishing licenses ($5.25/day), a selection of flies suggested by your guide, extra leaders and tippets and a few incidentals like floatant, indicators, splitshot, etc. We practice catch and release except in a few waters where park officials encourage keeping some brook trout. GUIDE GRATUITY IS ALSO NOT INCLUDED.
What Should You Bring:
Rainwear, polarized sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, extra socks, fishing gloves, and a camera. If you don't own these items we can provide them in our fuly stocked fly shop.
Check this list and let us know which items we can have ready for you to pick up at the shop. i.e., Colorado license, appropriate flies, sunglasses.
Reservations:
Advanced reservations of at least one week are encouraged, however we will try to accommodate last minute requests. A 50% deposite is required at time of booking, with balance due at least 24 hours prior to departure. Deposits are fully refundable up to 48 hours prior to departure. Same day cancellations result in full charge. We fish in all weather conditions, rain, snow, or shine.
